the Third-Half is an imagined space that emerges out of the necessity for survival during times of conflict. it has its origins in my experience of growing up in Beirut during war and compensates for the absence of a possibility to exist outside violent divisions. it is a conceptual space in which there is infinite potential for possibilities to occur in the present. it is formed both by the resistance to and reconciliation of violent binary divisions.
