The Cycle of Violence (2007) is a 15 x 15 feet installation made of bigger than life-size painted figure drawn on unprimed canvas. The process consists of applying paint onto the canvas using squirt bottles and rollers to create patterns and textures representing scars inflicted by war and lines that are lnked to deeply ingrained images of barbwire and electric cables that connected the buildings of Beirut during power cuts in times of conflict.
