The Cycle of Violence is a 15 x 15 feet installation. It is made of bigger than life-size painted figures that are drawn on unprimed canvas. The process consists of applying paint onto the canvas using squirt bottles and rollers. The created patterns and textures represent scars inflicted by war, and lines that are lnked to deeply ingrained images of barbwire, and electric cables that connected the buildings of Beirut during power cuts in times of conflict.
