Description: The listener hears through headphones a compilation of simultaneous recordings extracted from interviews with two Palestinians who narrate in Arabic their escape trip in 1948 from Jaffa (Palestine) to Beirut (Lebanon); a 2008 march in San Francisco against war in Iraq; and speeches of political leader Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of Hezbollah, and Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora. The piece ends with Lebanese individuals at a party, conversing about mixed marriages in an amalgam of French, Arabic and English.
